Prayers:

I want to be a true servant. One who serves willingly, in any way, every day. I want to give my life away for God's glory. I pray that I will hear God; that I will truly listen to him and not just constantly ask him for things. I pray that my mind will be cleared of the nonsensical clutter that distracts me from my real purpose in this world. I pray that Jesus will guard and protect my mind, and help me to focus on him. I pray that God will help me turn my God-given dreams into reality - that I will be brave enough and trust God to take that leap of faith. I pray that I will not let my own selfishness get in the way of God's will for my life. I pray that I will NEVER get so full of myself that I forget to give love away. I pray that I will always remember to love people the way I long to be loved. I want more for the lives of those people who are hurting, and I pray that these things will always be my primary motivator. I pray that I will get rid of myself and be humbled by the incredible grace of God. 

Counting  my blessings:

I'm thankful I have my life. I'm thankful that God has given me so much, so I can in turn give so much away and help those who have none. I'm thankful for the hope I have in my heart. I'm thankful for the lessons that God is teaching me. I'm thankful that God is stretching me and helping me to grow, so I can change and become more like the person He created me to be. I'm thankful that God never gives up on us, and he strips us down to our bare bones so we can see Jesus for who He really is. 

Lessons in faith:

Never underestimate the power of God. He is capable and willing, you just have to ask.
